Russell was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Russ has been a licensed insurance professional with Medicare in the center of it all for more than 15 years.  As agency director at Legacy Insurance Advisors in Tulsa, he doesn't take for granted the privelage to meet with individuals and independent agents every week to discuss insurance needs in today's ever-changing benefits environment.  The companies his agency hand-picked to represent have become the leaders in the industry.  His vision is to develop an elite, highly-trained and ethical agent network to educate, inform and empower Medicare beneficiaries throughout the state of Oklahoma, where he is committed to educating and empowering policyholders.

Russ is also managing director of Okmedicarehelp.com an innovative marketing arm where they have created a simple platform to help Medicare beneficiaries connect with local certified agents they can trust to help deliver inforamation, advise and Medicare insurance policies. Russ played rugby at Oklahoma State University where he graduated with a degree in finance and a minor in accounting.  Russell and wife, Erica married in 2009, they have 3 wonderful children Rory (8), Sydney (6) and Reince (5).
