Medical Pricing in an Evolving Marketplace

Tom Bartlett joined HealthSmart in 2009 as the Vice President of Sales.  Mr. Bartlett possesses more than 30 years of experience in sales and business development. Mr. Bartlett also has extensive experience in employee benefits, self-funding/self-insurance, and workers compensation.

In 1996, as his clients requested case management in workers compensation, Mr. Bartlett created and administered three workers compensation self-insured funds.  He transferred to the Florida corporate office to head all marketing efforts for the parent company – a national multi-line managing general agency handling property & casualty and health programs, many of which were self-insured. 

In 2006, Tom purchased an independent insurance agency in Austin, Texas.  Following the completion of the sale of the agency in 2009, he chose to return to Oklahoma and utilize his skills at HealthSmart working with self-funded employers.
